‘Watson Bowl’ is a fun sports prediction app where friends can get together and predict weekly scores in the American football season.

This fun app offers functions of creating your own league between friends, a tailored profile page with personal statistics and team pages where users can check out teams statistics throughout the season.

THE CHALLENGE

The existing app had a very basic navigation and interface, it lacked appropriate user feedback, the interface was not emotive. We were asked to improve the visual design and usability.

The old UI lacked a brand strategy and had design challenges.

Re-routing the navigation by adding features and feedback to provide better engagement for the user.

Team and user profiles are added to the application. These are so users can access teams recent form and also access their own performance statistics. Feedback on outcome selections is also integrated to give the user a more completed feel .

The colour palette aligns with the content of the app with a similar NFL colour, to replace the old dark scheme shown previously. Visual components, infography and icons present an engaging interface for the user and present information in a digestible format.
